VP of Business Development (Europe)

Tom appeared on Earth in the moraines of northern Germany. In Munich he became Dipl. Ing. (aka MSc) focusing on hydropower and dam construction. Once (almost) finished traveling the entire world, running an IT business in the 90s and learning how to surf, his paths crossed Tom Lochtefeld’s in 2001.

After building legendary Durbanicus Rex, heading Wave House Durban and coming to San Diego for a while he headed back to Europe placing our FlowRider on all the cruise ships and making sure our European clients can tap into his expertise. Besides snowboarding and surfing Tom of course loves flowboarding, in factories and on your new FlowRider… he’s our Mate in Germany.
