Since opening Tidal Cove at JW Marriott Miami Turnberry has been racking up some awards and nominations! In October they were awarded ‘Florida’s #1 Resort” by Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards. This is huge news! Their amazing and attentive staff, their beautiful grounds and attention to detail definitely earned them this award. We have a feeling that the brand new FlowRider® Triple that anchors the property’s epic water park didn’t hurt their path to getting this award.
And more recently the property was just nominated for USA Today’s Reader’s Choice Awards in the Best Attraction category. This category pulls from water parks and theme parks to museums and performance spaces. A panel of (very lucky) travel experts combed the country for the best new attractions of the year to aggregate the greatest. The winner will be announced on Friday, January 10 at noon ET, so we will just have to wait.
By the way, this property has been a mainstay in the Miami area for years, but with a recent and MAJOR upgrade, the industry (and guests, obviously!) are noticing. It also changed from an Autograph Collection property to JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa. With the change came 325 new guest rooms, an additional 80,000+ square feet of event space and a brand-new water park.
It’s all paying off and we can’t wait to see what 2020 brings to the Flow Family team at JW Marriott Miami. Good luck!
